Current requirements call for systematic work on environmental concerns in everything from organization and construction to administration. EFLA’s division of the Environment provides trustworthy professional consulting on environmental concerns, organization, nature protection, geotechnical engineering and geology, and land use planning. The Environment division is multi-disciplinary, comprised of a great number of differing service areas covering everything from ecological analyses (Life Cycle Asessments) and the handling of waste to plans for nature protection, collection of land use information, assistance in preparing organization plans, and assessment of environmental influences or consulting on soil work and construction of tunnels.

The division’s large staff have years of experience. We utilize the newest software solutions and emphasise research in conjunction with consulting to ensure professional work and good solutions and at the same time seek collaboration with domestic and foreign experts, as necessary.
Consulting is strengthened with the operation of EFLA’s research laboratory on environmental monitoring and assessment as well as research in geotechnical engineering.

Well educated experts in engineering, technology, geology, chemistry, geography, natural sciences, environmental sciences and planning work in Environmental Issues, many of them sought after for teaching at the university level because of their wide-ranging expertise. Hundreds of projects attest to the fact that their services have conformed to the Company’s policy.
