The role of EFLA’s Industry Division is to provide consulting, design and services for industry, heavy industry and electrical systems. The division is divided into the following service divisions that at the same time express our emphases and our special expertise: Aluminium, Food, and Chemical Industries, and Building Management, Electrical and Special Industrial Systems.
The marketing division has a staff of experts in industrial systems who are known for their expertise in electrical and managerial systems for heavy industry, processing plants, utilities and ventilations systems together with building management systems. Our expert knowledge in the area of electrical systems and automation is broad and provides us with an overview and understanding of the work process. We can therefore approach projects in the formulating and development stages. Furthermore we strive to co-ordinate the knowledge gained from the broad experience of our staff with that of the employees of those we work for and seek to increase collaboration for the benefit of our customers. We look for integration of our work with our customers, whether the project is maintenance, innovation or a large construction job, and are interested in service and maintenance contracts.
The division has staff with considerable expertise in electrical systems, lighting technology, special industrial systems such as access and safety systems, and building management systems for large and small buildings. The division is very inclusive and we see to projects all the way from formulation until the system has been taken over by the user.
Our projects tell their own story as we have worked for heavy industry in Iceland, aluminium production on the world market, the dairy industry, fish processing and ships, shrimp processors, the fish meal and fish liver oil industry, the feed industry, power plants and utilities, and the owners of a large number of buildings.
